"Yeah. It's just...I don't know how to help this horse. I mean, I've never helped a horse before. And Frenchie, he's going to be great again! He really is! It's just...he's afraid to be touched. So, I can't brush him, or clean out his hooves, or anything. I'm rambling, aren't I?" Rosa explained, looking down hearted.
Patting Jinx's neck, she looked between his ears. 'The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears,' she thought, smiling.

"No it's okay." She encouraged. "I love to talk about my horses, everyone does. And I'll help you hawever you need. You can borrow stuff, and we can go to the stock feeds. It'll be fine, you'll see." As Paddy approched the gate she halted, leaning over.

Rosa halted Jinx, and nodded a little. "I just wish I knew why he's so scared. I didn't fully understand if it had to do with the fire he was caught in. Though, didn't they take care of him?" Rosa asked, and in an absent minded way, played with Jinx's mane.

Rose shifted a little in Jinx's saddle, and he quickened his walk, though Rosa kept a firm watch on him to make sure he stayed at his walk. "Thanks for letting me rant," Rosa stated.
"Alright, lets do it." She said, and fismounted. She untacked Paddy and slipped on his halter, then walked him to the wash bays to hose him lightly, and return to the paddock for the afternoon once he was dry and the tack put away.
Rosa follows Sadie's lead, making sure the Jinx was cooled down before turning him out.
Slowly, she got the halter and lead. Frenchie was pacing, tossing his head, and Rose entered. "Easy now boy. Easy Frenchie. It's okay. Whoa, easy," she soothed, keeping calm.
Frenchie backed away from her, and she stopped. Seeing her stop, he stopped. Rose left the stall, and got a carrot before going back in.
Frenchie's ears pricked forward, seeing the carrot, and she snapped it in half. Pocketing the other half, she broke the half in half again, pocketing the forth.
The snapping of the carrots got Frenchie to take one step forward. A small one, and she held the carrot out to him.
He shied a little, and Rosa pulled the carrot away. "I'm not going to hurt you on purpose Frenchie. Come on," she called.
Frenchie took a small step forward and Rosa gently tossed him the piece of carrot. She was able to take two steps forward before he backed away from her. Only one step though. "I'm going to need more carrots," Rosa stated.
Sadie came up behind her friend Rosa and observed her. Okay, Rosa, don't look him in the eye like that. That makes you a predetor. Amd when you throw the carrots, use slow, soft movements, and toss it gently in front of him, but don't hit him. She turned her gaze on the dappled grey stallion. He's going to need muscle build up, and he's skinny. I'll help you make up a mash for him, I've got all the stuff you'll need. Sadie nnoted, then stepped sideways, out of Rosa's way, to the paddock next to his, they were small parstures, desinged for the rescues. Her boy Zorro was neighbouring, and he watched her. He still needed fattening up a little, but he was okay, and he'd come along way with his trust issues and training.
Rosa nodded, and she gently tossed another piece to him, only a little closer to her. Frenchie picked up the carrot piece, and Rosa hopped up onto the fence, looking at the ground.
She had just wanted to help this skittish horse, this horse that otherwise might have not found anyone. Breaking another half, she gently tossed it.
She heard the crunching, and looked up a little. Frenchie had walked closer, and she looked back at the ground. Slowly, she took out the last carrot piece, and dropped it.
She smiled as Frenchie slowly walked forward, and reached out, taking the carrot piece into his lips, then backed off a little.
Rosa smiled, and looked for Saide, moving slowly. It was a tiny break through, but it was one.
Sadie smiled as her friend turned her way. She nodded, trying to reassure her she'd done well. She winked and raised her hand in a thumbs up position. She serched her coat, and pulled out another carrot, handing it to Rosa. She whispered as she reached forward to give it to her. "We should try join-up too." She whispered, then turned, stepping back slowly.
Rosa broke off a fourth of the carrot, and saw Frenchie's ears perk up. She dropped the piece at her feet, and Frenchie reached forward, picking up the carrot. Instead of backing off, he took a step forward, and she sat up a bit more.
Frenchie snorted, and she broke off another piece of carrot, dropping it below her feet again. This time, when Frenchie got the carrot, his neck brushed her leg.
